Ouch! EFCA – Employee ‘Forced’ Choice Act

Author: EFCA is supposed to stand for Employee Free Choice Act, this particular act could not have been named any more deceiving.

President Barack Obama last week reaffirmed his support for this piece of job-killing legislation, declaring that federal agencies would implement Big Labor’s agenda. While Obama continues to claim out of one side of his mouth that the economy and job creation are his top priorities, in the next breath he states his support for legislation that will result in lost jobs and closed businesses. Appearing on CSPAN’s Newsmakers, AFL-CIO boss Richard Trumka promised a vote on EFCA before the end of the year.

Fascinating piece. I came across your site a while back when searching for articles dealing with American Politics and Obama. I’ve becomea returning visitor to your blog. I know I’m a little late in posting my comments but the blog made a lot of sense and I enjoyed it. I can’t say that I agree with all the points you made but it was definitely enlightening! I run a small US company that manufactures a line of collectible political gifts that commemorate the great leaders, speeches and events of American politics.
